Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Redink (redink.ink), operated by PageTurner Studio LLC ("Redink," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

What Redink is — and isn't

Redink converts written revision notes into annotated PDF markups using AI. It is designed for design workflows: brand decks, proofs, presentations, brochures, and similar documents. Redink is not designed for legal documents, medical records, financial filings, compliance documentation, academic manuscripts, or any context where annotation errors carry significant consequences. Using Redink for those purposes is at your own risk.

Always review AI-generated annotations before distributing to clients. Redink is a productivity tool, not a proofreader. We are not responsible for errors that reach your clients.

Your account

You must provide a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at hello@redink.ink if you suspect unauthorized access.

One account per person. Team members must each create their own account.

Credits

Redink runs on a credit system. Each credit allows you to mark up up to 10 pages of a PDF. Subscription credits (included with your monthly or annual plan) reset on the first of each calendar month. Unused credits do not carry over.

Credit top-up packs are available only to active subscribers. Top-up credits do not expire while your subscription is active, but are forfeited if your subscription is cancelled.

Current credit allocations:

• Starter ($29/month or $290/year): 50 credits/month
• Agency ($99/month or $990/year): 300 credits/month
• Studio ($249/month or $2,490/year): 1,500 credits/month
• Credit Top-Up ($15, one-time): 50 credits (subscribers only)

Billing and refunds

Subscriptions are billed in advance — monthly or annually depending on the plan you select. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc.

Refund policy: If you subscribed within the last 7 days and have not processed any PDFs, you may request a full refund by emailing hello@redink.ink. After 7 days, or after any PDF has been processed, subscriptions are non-refundable. Credit top-up purchases are non-refundable.

Annual plans are billed as a single charge. If you cancel an annual plan, your access continues until the end of the paid period — no partial refunds are issued for the unused months.

You can cancel, upgrade, downgrade, or update your payment method at any time through the Manage Subscription option in your account menu.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Redink for your internal business purposes. You may not copy, modify, resell, or sublicense the software. All intellectual property in Redink belongs to PageTurner Studio LLC.

You retain ownership of the PDFs you upload and the annotations you download. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content you don't have the right to process
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the service
• Use Redink in any way that violates applicable law
• Share your account credentials

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

The service is provided "as-is"

Redink is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind — express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated annotations will be accurate in every case.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PageTurner Studio LLC's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Redink shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim, or (b) $50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost client relationships, or errors in documents distributed to third parties.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Jersey.
